Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Position Details
We are seeking a passionate and driven Speech Language Pathologist who is eager to take initiative in growing and developing our program. The ideal candidate will actively collaborate with our current SLP and work to enhance services to better meet the needs of our patients and community. Key responsibilities of the SLP include, but are not limited to:
- Evaluates, establishes, and implements treatment in accordance with best practice and evidence based practice within the scope and standards of practice set by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Demonstrates a commitment to providing care for both long-term care residents and pediatric patients, adapting treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each population.
- Completes documentation of patient's evaluation, plan of care, and treatment provided; and maintains documentation according to ASHA.
- Coordinates and communicates information regarding patient care with the individual's health care provider and staff, other departments, and family members as applicable.
- Educates patients and establishes effective home programs.
What You Offer
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program and licensed to practice in the State of Minnesota.
- Must demonstrate the ability to treat pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
- Prefer pediatric, long term care, and inpatient experience.
Work Schedule
- Full-time, 60 hours per biweekly pay period
- Monday-Friday; no weekends or holidays
